Who takes the liability if something breaks?
When we integrate established networks like TaskRabbit or Angi, the service providers are vetted, background-checked, and insured by those platforms. The liability for the assembly work sits with the service provider, protecting your brand.
How is the assembly price calculated?
The API calculates the price dynamically based on two factors: the customer's zip code (local labor rates) and the complexity of the specific SKU (which we map in the backend). You can also choose to subsidize the cost to increase conversion.
Can we offer this everywhere?
Major partners provide coverage for about 90% of US zip codes (mostly urban/suburban). If a customer enters a highly rural zip code where no pros are available, the checkout widget gracefully hides the offer so there is no poor experience.
