We recommend 14 to 30 days. Anything shorter doesn't give enough time for ads to optimize. Anything longer kills the momentum and hype. The "sweet spot" is usually 21 days.

Do I need a special app for Shopify?

It helps, but isn't required. We can use native Shopify functionality by setting inventory to "Continue selling when out of stock" and changing the button text to "Pre-Order". For advanced crowdfunding visuals (progress bars), we use specific apps or custom code.

What if I don't hit my funding goal?
