Is soliciting reviews an ethics violation?

Asking for reviews is generally permitted by the ABA, provided you do not offer compensation or incentives (like discounts) in exchange for the review, and you do not coerce the client. Our automated systems send polite, neutral requests that comply with standard attorney advertising rules.

Can you delete a negative Avvo review?

Avvo will only delete a review if it violates their Terms of Service (e.g., posted by opposing counsel, contains hate speech, or the reviewer was never a client).
